Moving
Looking for a job
Looking for a new [used] car

Now I can add to this distinguished list. I hate migrating [often] refugee information from old computers to new. What a fucking pain in the ass. And while it involves none of the back breaking labour of lifting refrigerators, or mattresses, couches, or that special form of life size tetris when negotiating staircases, door frames, or other people, it does entail bother.

I got the iMac 21.5" and it is a big upgrade from my iBook. Post processing on my photos is stupid fast, and the display is fucking candy. Watching the new BBC series LIFE in HDTV is a thrilling experience. But "movement of jah" data sucks no matter what system you're moving to, and what conditions have prefaced this new and confusing fact of modern life. Data management is a science, not an art. Thank god Michelle is an archivist by training. Someday I might even have her organize my shit.
