November 6th, ¥1568, my first roll of 120 film comes back. Just prints and negs, no cd, which means no internet upload... maybe I can scan the prints, but that's nothing like the same. hmmm
Scanning the negatives was going to be something like ¥500, per frame. $60 to scan 12 shots seemed a bit excessive to me. I may need to find a new photo lab, because I can't afford this shit, at all.
We are doing a ton of research on photographers for our latest project in school-a photography studio. I'm studying Hedi Slimane, Henri Cartier-Bresson, and Vera Lutter. All worth checking out. I'll let you know how this goes, but it's fascinating thusfar...
ReplyDeleteBresson is one of the founders of photography. Slimane I've never been impressed with though. Wish I could remember the name of this one cat who a friend of mine turned me on to... useless
