Reciprocity Failure

A fancy name for the point where film stops responding to light at a 1:1 ratio. It happens during long exposures.

I'm gonna go test the capabilities of the the Kodak Ektar 100 sitting in my camera right now, down at the local poor people super market we frequent, Super Tamade (pronounced ta-ma-day). There's always something interesting going on down there, and Michelle is eating dinner with her co-workers tonight.

Just gotta finish this beer...

Here's an example of a Super Tamade shot provided by Fuji Superia 400. Awesome, cheap, rugged film, shot from a $40 dollar nikon body, through roughly $100 worth of glass.

Compositionally unremarkable I know, but the reciprocity of this film is pretty damn good.
